The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

260A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

C.T. Keane, rider of Zenith Blaze (GB), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran green and hung left.

260B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C&G) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Capability Brown, ridden by J. Cleary, Drumbeat, ridden by W. M. Lordan and Consenza, ridden by W.J. Lee, where it appeared there was contact between Capability Brown and Consenza. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. Cleary stated that his mount leaned right but suffered no interference. W. J. Lee stated that his mount was intimidated and got a fright but at no stage did he run out of room. W. M. Lordan stated that his mount drifted slightly right but caused no interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action. Mr Michael Hickey recused himself from this enquiry and Mr Victor Connolly acted as Chairman.

The Raceday Stewards informed Daniel William O'Sullivan, trainer, that Lamar River would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

J. Cleary, rider of Capability Brown, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged right.

W.J. Lee, rider of Consenza, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a bit intimidated and rolled onto the rail.

P.A. Harnett, rider of Forthethrillofit, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away.

260E Membership At Gowran (F) Claiming Race

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Tax Me Later, ridden by N.M. Crosse, Profit Surge, ridden by C.T. Keane, and Minaun View (GB), ridden by P. McGettigan, where it appeared Minaun View momentarily ran short of room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Reese Holohan, rider of Quinta Girl, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung a small bit right in the straight.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Una Matata, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount reared up as the gates opened.

260F Societies At Gowran Park Apprentice Hcap

S. A. Wallace, rider of Crosshaven (GB), trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled two furlongs from home.

J.S. Dalton, rider of Real Petite (GER), trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he took a precautionary check half a furlong out.

P. McGettigan, rider of Lady Kelly, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly right up the straight.

W. Joyce, rider of Bright Dick, trained by Luke W. Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left from the stalls.

260G Support The Irish Injured Jockeys H'cap

The Raceday Stewards fined Adrian McGuinness, trainer, €65 for fitting cheekpieces to She's Ideal which had not been declared and ordered their removal.

The Raceday Stewards informed Andrew Slattery, trainer, that Aurora Mist, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Bill Silvers (GB), trained by William Durkan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he took a precautionary check in the straight.

B.M. Coen, rider of Navagio, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received pressure from his outside one and a half furlongs down.

260H Racing Again September 19th M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Joe Cool, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

S. Foley, rider of Figero, trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Run For Mahler, trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right for the last two furlongs.
